During this past holiday season, we surveyed 150 executives who represent over 100 commerce brands in the United States, Europe, and Latin America. Our goal was to conduct the most comprehensive research study to date about the state of Customer-Centric Commerce within the retail industry. We tallied survey responses into three groups of respondents based on their scores: Leaders, Laggards, and Bystanders. From these results we gained invaluable insights into which initiatives are key priorities for retailers and how some companies are succeeding where others are having challenges.
